Following an 8 million refurbishment and development programme Gisborough Hall which was built in 1857 is now open for business.Originally built as the stunning home of Baron Gisborough Gisborough Hall has been transformed into a 71 bedroom luxury hotel set in wooded grounds in the picturesque market town of Guisborough the ancient capital of Cleveland. Gisborough Hall is a Grade ll listed building and every effort has been made to retain the style and character of its Victorian and Edwardian heritage. Each of the 19 bedrooms and suites in the original Hall have been individually decorated to enhance their original features and many of the ensuite bathrooms have double wash hand basins and separate walk in showers. For that special occasion 4 poster beds are available in 3 of the bedrooms and there is a pedestal bath set into the window recess at the foot of the bed in the Bachelor Room. A further 52 bedrooms have been built as part of the development.
